‘Field Notes From a Hidden City’ is under consideration for the prestigious Kirkus Prize.
The Kirkus Prize was created to celebrate the 81 years of discerning, thoughtful criticism Kirkus Reviews has contributed to both the publishing industry and readers at large. Books that earned the Kirkus Star with publication dates between October 1, 2013, and September 30, 2014, are automatically nominated for the 2014 Kirkus Prize, and the winners will be selected on October 23, 2014, by an esteemed panel composed of nationally respected writers and highly regarded booksellers, librarians and Kirkus critics.
Winners of the 2014 Kirkus Prize will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 23rd in Austin, Texas
